About James McCraney  

I have been in the insurance and financial services business for over 35 years. During this time, I have helped hundreds of clients with their life insurance, annuity and long-term care planning needs. Many of them were nearing or already enjoying retirement. I take my job seriously and consider it rewarding. Bringing a sense of freedom and security to my clients adds joy to my life.  

Reared in Laurel, Mississippi, I graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Business with a major in marketing and a minor in economics.  

I am proud to be a U.S. Army veteran, having served my country as an artillery officer in Vietnam. In Vietnam, I was awarded the Bronze Star medal for valor.  

There have been numerous awards throughout my career, not only for sales but for leadership as well. I am most proud of those for client satisfaction. I also hold the Chartered Financial Consultant designation awarded through The American College, as well as being licensed as an Investment Advisor Representative through Tucker Asset Management.  

My wife is Ann and we have 4 grown children. We are also blessed to have 10 grandchildren. We are active members of Pinelake Church where I have had the privilege of serving as a Deacon.
